Official Contest Rules

The Chuck and Albert Online Contest (the "Contest") is sponsored by "Chuck & Albert Inc." ("Sponsor"). NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Offer void where prohibited.

1. HOW TO ENTER:
Entrants can enter online at http://www.chuckandalbert.com/contest

2. ELIGIBILITY:
The Contest is open to any individual who is:

  • a legal resident of Canada, United States, or Europe.
  • age of majority or participating with parental consent.
  • not an employee of Sponsor, and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and other coordinating agencies involved in the development, implementation and distribution of the Contest, or an immediate family member or are living in the same household of such an employee.

No entry fee, payment, or proof of purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. Void where taxed, restricted, or otherwise prohibited by law.

3. PRIZE DETAILS:
The winner will receive either:

  • An autographed copy of Chuck & Albert's latest DVD
    OR
  • An autographed copy of Chuck & Albert's latest CD


The Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of the Grand Prize is VALUE ($25 CAD). All prizes claimed will be awarded. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute and or modify the prize with a prize of equal or greater value with immediate effect at any time prior to the closing date of the Contest by advertising that fact. Only one (1) prize is permitted per family or household.

4. WINNER SELECTION:
Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Drawing will be held by Sponsor, once a month. All decisions in all matters relating to this Contest made by Sponsor are final. Odds of winning depend solely on the total number of valid entries received. Winner will be notified by e-mail. If Sponsor, using commercially reasonable efforts, is unable to contact the potential winner within ten (10) business days from the first contact attempt, or if a potential winner has not, or does not comply with these Official Rules, then such person shall be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.

5. GENERAL RULES & CONDITIONS:
By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Each entrant acknowledges that any information provided by entrant may be disclosed to Sponsor(s), and that Sponsor(s) may send marketing communications to entrants in accordance with each entrant's "opt-in" selection. Winner gives Sponsor the right to use winner's name for advertising and promotion purposes without further compensation, where permitted by law.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
SPONSOR, AND ITS PARENT, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, SHAREHOLDERS, EMPLOYEES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES INVOLVED IN THIS CONTEST SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY AND SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS BY ENTRANT FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS OR LIABILITY TO PERSON OR PROPERTY, DUE IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, BY REASON OF ENTERING THE CONTEST, THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE, OR WHILE PREPARING FOR, PARTICIPATING IN, AND/OR TRAVELING TO AND FROM ANY PRIZE-RELATED ACTIVITY.

7. TAMPERING:
If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other cause beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupts, impairs or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend the Contest and/or prizes. In such event, Sponsor may award prizes in a random drawing from all eligible entries received up to the date of cancellation or suspension. Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with or in any way corrupts the entry process. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Contest or winning a prize if, in Sponsor's sole discretion, Sponsor determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives.

8. SPONSOR: Chuck & Albert

LIABILITY AND PUBLICITY RELEASE
Chuck & Albert Inc. will provide the winner ("Prize Winner") with either of the following prizes ("Prize"):


  • An autographed copy of Chuck & Albert's latest DVD
    OR
  • An autographed copy of Chuck & Albert's latest CD


on the condition that Prize Winner and all guests agree to the following:

PRIZE.
1. Prize Winner represents that he or she is eligible to receive the Prize in accordance with the Contest Official Rules.
2. Any tax liability for acceptance of the Prize is the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner.

PUBLICITY.
Prize Winner grants Chuck & Albert Inc. and its affiliates permission to use, reproduce, exhibit and display, in any media and as it sees fit, Prize Winner's name, alone or with others, in whole or in part, for the purpose of advertising and promoting Chuck & Albert Inc. ("Publicity Rights"). Prize Winner acknowledges and agrees that Chuck & Albert  Inc. will be the exclusive owner of the results and proceeds of such promotional efforts. Prize Winner releases and discharges Chuck & Albert Inc. from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action that Prize Winner may have in connection with the use and exercise of any of the Publicity Rights.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY.
THE PRIZE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." CHUCK & ALBERT INC. MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE PRIZE, OR ANY PORTION OF THE PRIZE. CHUCK & ALBERT INC. EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS THE WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND MERCHANTABILITY.

MISCELLANEOUS.
If any provisions in these terms and conditions is invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be construed, limited, modified, or, if necessary, severed, to the extent necessary to eliminate its invalidity or unenforceability, and the other provisions of these terms and conditions will remain in full force and effect.
